New York's volunteer EMS agencies run on dedication, but too many are operating on antiquated systems that were never built to last in today's environment. In many communities, the local volunteer agency is the only emergency medical coverage that exists. There is no backup. EMS Access exists to change that, at no cost.
Through sponsored fellowships, we work alongside agency leadership to modernize bylaws, strengthen finances, and establish the operational foundation that makes everything else possible.
Beyond our fellowship program, EMS Access convenes summits where volunteer EMS leaders from across New York State come to share challenges and lessons learned, exchange ideas, and strengthen the sector together.
